    To acknowledge Black History Month we have been looking at influential black people in history, and living today. One of the people we focused on was Alma Thomas who created a signature abstract painting style. This inspired us to create our own pieces in her style!

  • Starting our class novel!

    We have already started reading our class novel for this half term - Holes. We are already enjoying learning about Camp Green Lake and Stanley Yelnats (whose surname is his last name spelt backwards). We can't wait to find out what happens to the boys!

    Year 6 have taken inspiration from the poem 'In Flanders Fields' to write our own Remembrance day poetry. We used our previously learnt skills in watercolour to decorate our poetry with poppies.
